The Gabon international striker for Borussia Dortmund was at the centre of intense speculation at the start of the summer, however he and his club appeared to end any possibility of a move last month.

Dortmund put a July deadline on any chance of him departing – which passed, and Aubameyang publicly stated he would be remaining with the Bundesliga side.

He stated that he is still reflecting and wants to grow.  Leaving the window open for a transfer he said,

“I am still reflecting on whether I should leave or not.  This is the question I keep on asking myself – and I don’t have an answer. I need time to think about it.  If I want to grow, I surely need to leave this summer. I am 28 and I need to grow.”

2. Jean Seri

Barcelona are set to sign Ivorian Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri – but the midfielder wanted to join Real Madrid.

Reports say Barca will activate a $47.2 million dollar release clause in Seri’s contract although there have been counter-claims such a buy-out deal has expired.

3. Riyad Mahrez

Algerian winger for Leicester City, Riyad Mahrez was named in coach Georges Leekens’ Algeria squad for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon. In their opening game, he scored both goals in a 2–2 draw with Zimbabwe and was awarded Man of the Match.

He is looking for a new team, but may have to stay with Leicester City as ROMA have been forced to abandon their pursuit due to the club’s $64.5 million dollar price tag.
