Cameroon international footballer, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, now plays as a forward or winger for Stoke City and the Cameroon national team, representing them at two FIFA World Cups.
Stoke City signed Choupo-Moting on a three-year deal after his contract ran out at German club Schalke.

Choupo-Moting, 28, is Stoke City’s fourth signing of the summer. Team Manager, Mark Hughes spoke to Stoke City about Choupo-Moting’s signing.

“Eric has been on our radar for several years and we actually tried to bring him to the club four years ago,” chief executive Tony Scholes said.
Stoke open their Premier League season with a trip to Everton on Saturday.
Choupo-Moting earned his first call-up for the Cameroon national football team and represented Cameroon at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Choupo-Moting was also called up for the Cameroon national football team’s world cup squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Earlier this year in January he announced that he will not play in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
