Montenegrin Coach Nebojsa Jovovic signed a two-year deal with Egyptian club Zamalek.

“After holding a meeting with the club’s board member Ahmed Mortada Mansour, Montenegrin coach Nebojsa Jovovic signed a two-year-contract,” read a statement from the club’s chairman on the official website on Monday.

“We will hold a meeting with Nebojsa on Monday to announce the deal’s details,” the statement added.

Jovovic impressed chairman Mortada Mansour after he helped Jordan’s Faisaly reach the final of the Arab Champions Cup earlier this month.

Zamalek have had 15 coaches since the election of President Mansour in 2014, including Mido, Hossam Hassan, Portuguese Jesualdo Ferreira and Scotsman Alex McLeish.
